The Bulgarian conference includes 4 sessions with focus on Bulgaria with the participation of companies and non-government organizations with sustainable and innovative social programmes and will announce the results from two surveys on donation practices.

BCause Foundation will host a national conference, dedicated on philanthropy and corporate social responsibility, which will be held in Sofia.

The event is part of a one of a kind international symposium on philanthropy and corporate social responsibility, which will be hosted by members of the Charities Aid Foundation network in Australia, Brazil, India, South Africa, Russia, the United Kingdom, the USA, Canada, Turkey and Bulgaria.

Press-conference: Presenting the Bulgarian Diaspora Giving Practices Survey

Stoyan Mihaylov from Junction Bulgaria research agency and Elitsa Barakova will present the survey’s findings which attempts to describe our our fellows countrymen outside Bulgaria as givers and volunteers. We will show which are the most frequently chosen areas of support, how givers donate most often, what motivates donors and what stops non-donors, what job and generally who is the donor abroad.
